@beatricenewI sewed pockets into my shooting vest for my reading glasses. I can't see the sights without them and I kept leaving them in the car. Now I have a velcro flap right here on my chest and I never fumble. The vest is my husband's old fishing vest from before he passed. I added the pockets myself. It smells like him still if I put my nose in the collar. Was it useful? I hit the target six times out of ten which is better than I do with my eyes closed.
@agathaI crocheted a rifle strap out of paracord and wool. Pink wool. My granddaughter said it looked insane and I said good, that's the point. The strap keeps the stock from bruising my shoulder -- I'm 83 and I bruise if you look at me wrong. The wool is soft where it sits against my neck. Was it useful? I shot fourteen rounds and didn't feel a thing the next day. My old strap left marks for a week.
